My husband and I recently purchased an investment property. The home was a short sale and I was mentally preparing for a long drawn out painful real estate process. I admit my anxiety level was higher than usual and with my husband being so busy with work the document gathering fell into my lap. I wasn't too happy about that but Evangeline and her staff kept us (me) on track with their weekly updates, phone calls and emails. I always knew where we were in the loan process. Evangeline worked closely with the real estate agents on several property issues which ultimately saved us thousands of dollars on the purchase price. Thanks to her and her team we were able to close early and I even got to sign documents with my husband out of town. The transaction by far went smoother than I had ever imagined.

Evangeline and her team are the best! This was my first time purchasing a home and they made it so easy. I have always heard horror stories about the loan process, escrow problems, etc... but not once did I encounter any problems. They took care of everything. The one thing that I liked the best was the Tuesday updates once my house was in escrow. This update always let me know where we were in the process and what things were being done to make sure that all escrow deadlines were being met. We met Evangeline because of our realtors (Carol and Chele) had recommended her. We didn't know who to go through, what to expect or what we were even doing. Evangeline and her staff worked hand in hand with our realtor to get us exactly what we wanted. My wife and I didn't know the first thing about buying a house, we knew we were tired of renting and wanted something to show for it, but we had no clue on how the process worked or what to expect. Evangeline took us step by step through the process, she told us what we would need to do and she explained what she would do. I have to tell you, we think she had the hardest part of all. If we had a question all we had to do was call or email and wham, she'd answer us. At times it really was hard for us to remember that she actually had other clients, the time it took for them to respond, made us think they were sitting around waiting for us to call, they're that fast to respond to you! The customer service that you receive from Summit Funding or Evangeline herself, really makes the whole home buying experience pain free. We send emails to Evangeline from time to time to thank her; I don't think we'll ever be able to fully covey our gratitude. We have referred Evangeline and Summit Funding to everyone we know whether they're buying a house or not. She's that good!

Most of our end of our loan transaction involved routine information gathering and signing as is typical with most of these types of loans. What wasn't typical was the way you worked with our very tight schedules by providing as many options as you could to accommodate us. What was exceptional was the manner Evangeline worked through that last minute financing glitch which would have caused us a great deal of inconvenience as well as a possible financial loss.
